The roots of our law firm go back to the 1930s. Dr. Alois Ritter took over after the death of his partner Dr. Wilhelm Beck and ran one of the very first lawyer’s offices in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Serving local and international clientele he developed valuable contacts still in place today with renowned European law firms.
In 1958 his son Dr. Karlheinz Ritter joined the firm. Dr. Alois Ritter died in 1966. Dr. Karlheinz Ritter ran the firm as his successor. He was mainly active in the field of business, company, foundation and trust law for an international client base, successfully expanding the firm during his long career. In addition to his professional practice Dr. Karlheinz Ritter was also a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament from 1966-1993, holding the office of President from 1978-1993.
In 1987 Cornelia Ritter became a partner in the office of her father Dr. Karlheinz Ritter. Along with her colleagues Dr. Alexander Fitz, who has been with the firm since 1973, and Marzell Beck, who joined in 1993, they have over the past three decades provided a wide range of legal services to clients and built up strong relationships with leading law firms.
Dr. Karlheinz Ritter passed away in the year 2008.
